Al Thomas pitcher/firstbaseman Tim Lucey will not be with the team for the 2003 season. Lucey has been traded to the Yokamuri Goats of the Desert Tundra League for a barrel of seeds, a huge tin of Cope, a butler, 50 White Russians and a tuna fish sandwich with potato chips. After struggling early in the 2002 season, Lucey hit .351 over the last month of the summer to lead the team down the stretch.
